The Tigers maul the Mariners

Dillan Dingler? Dillan Dingler.

This is at Safeco Field in Seattle. If I had an extra $500 to $600 I'd like to go take in a game there. It has a segemented cover that can cover the field from rain.

For some reason the place at which they're playing is also an interest to me. I like trying to see details in these highlight reels.

The Dodgers V Atlanta at Dodger Stadium

https://youtu.be/l9IuCw_OI8Q?si=nxdH1UhUKqalx3gs

Seeing Dodger Stadium always fills me with nostalgia.

The Dodgers are just not fair this year, again. Even taking one of their heaviest bats out of the line up - Freddy Freeman injured himself in the showers after the last game he played - The Dodgers are an all-star team. Teoscar Hernandez used to be on the Mariners, but his performance has gone to a whole new level in LA.

That's not loaded with innuendo, not at all.

It takes talent to put yourself on the Injured List in the showers after you win a game.

Dodgers v Atlanta.

Mookie Bettz is inconsistent. Sometimes he's bad news bears and sometimes he's among the best to ever play the game. When he's on, He's deadly at bat. You can tell he brings a lot of energy. Just not always in the right direction.

Ohtani only really shines when he has someone on base. When the bases are empty he's lukewarm. A good player, just not stellar. When he has guys on base, look out - that ball might just take a ride. He likes to steal bases, though. He has good timing at it.

This game was mainly a pitcher's duel. You have to outlast the killers in the early innings and hope the relievers are mortals.

The Mariners actually pull off a win by the skin of their teeth, so the series is 2 to 1 for the Tigers.

That Tigers starting pitcher Skubal is dangerous.

Dodgers versus Atlanta.

The Dodgers didn't even bother to show up for the first inning. It looked like Atlanta was going to whomp them.

Max Muncy is the Dodgers 3rd base player. I love him. He looks like a "Guy". You'd never look twice at him on the street. But he plays baseball really well.

Well, not tonight - But I think the first error is not his fault.

But he's a good hitter and gets a hit when he needs to.

Shoei Otahni looks like if you drew Superman as a Japanese kid. He's just a big ol' slab of guy and his talent is almost supernatural.

The Dodgers are now 8 and 0, a record setting start to the season.

Remember that story I told you? The guy hits a monster home run and the announcer shouts "THAT BALL HAD A FAMILY!"

That was Elly De La Cruz. He's an All-Star. Big ol' lanky guy. He's one of those guys who plays with a grin: "I get to play baseball!" He's having fun with it and it shows.
