Group Name: Eugenics Supermen. Augments. Super Soldiers. Enhanced Humans

Number of Members: About 150, although exact numbers are not certain
Nature of Members: Humans who have been victims of Dr Hans Glaubs Treatments. Not all such people joined the "Eugenics Supermen" faction, but most did.
Humans who under went Glaub's treatment were incredibly strong, durable and intelligent. They were also generally violent, arrogant and possibly psychotic.
Organization: A heirarchy. The strongest and cruelest of the Supermen ruled. Mostly this was Khan Noonian Singh.
Game Role: Really tough bad guys. History - the Bad Old Days
World Role: Psychotic would be world conquerors.
Relative Influence: Huge, they threw ther world into war, turmoil and choas, ultimately costing millions of lives.
Public or Secret?: Secret at first. Public towards the end.
Publicly Stated Goal: To rule the world in good order, tolerating no dissent.
Relative Wealth: Large. The Eugenics Supermen were inventive and clever. They used these advantages to rake in huge piles of cash with which to try and take over the world.
Group advantages: Very intelligent, very strong, very durable, very charismatic. Fiendishly clever and manipulative.
Special Abilities: Much stronger than the average human. Much faster than the average human. Much smarter than the average human.
Group disadvantages: Arrogant and ambitious. they had an oddly normal sense of judgement which lead to mistakes and wierd priorities.
Special disadvantages: Psychotic. Considered themselves a naturally superior form of human. This lead them to be callous with normal followers, and to casually kill "Normals" who thwarted them. Prone to being violently angry when thwarted.
Those who favor them: At first, people who felt that Khan, McPhearson and Jaeger represented order in an uncertain world. Other Eugenics Supermen, but only in so far as this made an advantage for themselves.
Those opposed to them: Freedom loving people. Peace loving people. People loving people. Eventually, almost everyone.
Area of Operation: The Planet Earth, 1944 through 2002
Headquarters Location: Khan's headquarters were outside the City of Mumbai. he had palaces scattered liberally.
Public Face: Chiselled, horribly strong conquerors.
Notable Members:
Hans Glaub - Invented the technique of dosing pregnant women with hormones
and steroids to alter the development of their children. A real prick.
Max Zorin - the first of the Supermen to make a play for world domination, Zorin's plan was arcane. He was killed fighting American and British Intelligence Agents.
May Day - Found her Jollies as Zorin's chief legbreaker and thug, and cultivating an amazon corps of brutal fighters. Killed by Max Zorin when he felt she'd outlived her usefullness.
Khan Noonien Singh - Considered the leader of the supermen
Karel Jaeger - Founded the facist philosophy of Jaegerism and fought the Soviet Union in a bloody war.
MacPhearson -: A Canadian/African man, he lead rebel armies to victory in Africa and exterminated Robert Mugabe.
Qwan Zhu - Chinese General, Warlord and would be Emperor, fought Khan to a Stand still.
Johnny Dollar -An American Crime Lord - his reign of terror was eventually foiled by freelance do gooders.
Knowle Rohrer - An American Agent - Lead an inside takeover attempt of "The Syndicate" , but was foiled at the last minute by Fox Mulder and Dana Scully leaving both the original Syndicate and Rohrer's New Syndicate in Disarray.
Fate of the Group:
By 2050, all of the original "Eugenics Supermen" were dead or missing.
Occasionally someone tries to ressurect Glaubs methods and create uber-thugs.
This usually backfires violently, with or without outside help.
History of the Group:
1936
Heinrich Himmler was the creator of the "Ayran Ideal", the concept of the Master Race which the Nazis used ruthlessly as a PR tool. He created the "SS", and recruited healthy, intelligent, blond haired, blue eyed people for his "Eugenics" program. Heinrich Himmler is also noted as the man who inevted and orchestrated the "Final Solution" and the deaths of 6 million jews.
Himmler, besides being a historical punk and racist yahoo was known to faint at the sight of blood, making him a galactic class pussy as well as villain for the ages.
Himmler instituted all sorts of unspeakable experiements on captives and prisoners.
1940
Although he didn't phrase it this way, Himmler's Eugenics program runs into a problem.
Domesticated animals, livestock, horses, dogs, etc are the result of 15,000 years of selective breeding, breeding primarily for predictability.
Humans have not been put through this eugenics sieve. So any two random humans are as likely to give birth to a strong, healthy intelligent superman, as they are a sickly, below average individual. Humans, in short have not been domesticated. Any true human eugenics program must resolve itself to proceed through several generations of small progress and random results before it can really begin to drive towards a goal.
Unwilling to wait until the 30th century before his "Master Race" program even begins to show consistent results, Himmler starts looking for short cuts.
1944
Hans Glaub is a Nazi scientist working for Heinrich Himmler on a project to create the "Master Race". This is the origin of the term "Eugenics" when attached to these people. It is a misnomer.
Glaub stumbles into a treatment f steroids and hormones that, when administered during preganancy results in children of enormous strength, durability and intelligence.
They are all quite mad, but really tough.
1945
The Soviet Union over runs most of Nazi Germany. The Soviets capture Glaub and his work.
Although it is not revealed for quite some time, Project Paperclip - the allied drive to capture advanced Nazi technology also gains copies of much of Glaubs work.
1950
Glaub, now working for the Soviet Union, creates the second generation of "Enhanced humans".
1952
Karel Jaeger is born.
1954
Khan Noonien Singh is born.
1957
Qwan Zhu is born.
1960
Glaubs "Enhanced Children" have begun training to infiltrate the west and gther power to be used against the west when the time is ripe.
The KGB does not trust this new generation of super agents, but doesn't not really comprehend how intelligent and self motivated these people are.
1961
Max Zorin escapes East Germany and settles in France. Dr. Glaub goes to the West with Zorin, who he seems to treat as a son, taking on the identity Dr Carl Mortner.
1968
Max Zorin founds Zorin Oil. He is a mediocre oil man, but a financial and organizational genius. He is notably hard on his crews but pays very well.
1969
Khan Noonien Singh (Age 15) completes his first PHD (In History), at Oxford.
1970
Karel Jaeger graduates from the University of Munich with a Degree in Political Science. he joins the West German Federal Police.
1973
Khan Noonien Singh returns to India. He becomes an officer in the Indian Military, and serves with distinction.
1975
Karel Jaeger is asked to leave the West German Federal Police. He has been advocating facism, against the laws of Germany.
Qwan Zhu enters the Chinese Military Academy.
1976
Markerrett Gombai, a rival of Khan Noonien Singh dies under mysterious circumstances, Although little remarked at the time, this is considered to be the point at Which Khan decides his future..
1978
Karel Jaeger is soundly defeated in his run for the Bundeschtag, the German Parliament. He becomes a laughing stock and in time, leaves the country.
Max Zorin reduces his committment to the oil business and starts getting into Industrial electronics in a big way.
1979
Qwan Zhu graduates and serves with the Chinese Army in Viet Nam.
1980
Khan Noonien Sign is the Youngest General in the history of the Indian Military. He is acquiring followers and fans in all walks of life. The first film depecting Khan as an action/Adventure hero is released "The young tigers"
1980
Karel Jaeger is spotted working for Chzechoslovakian Intelligence, their version of the KGB.
1982
Due to several poorly concieved economic policies, the Indian Economy collapses.
1983
Max Zorin begins a hostile take over of Sutton Oil.
1985
Khan, already overwhelmingly popular, stages a "Bloodless coup" and takes over India
May 22 - Max Zorin attempts Project Main Strike and is stopped by American and British Espionage agents. Max Zorin is killed by falling or being thrown into San Franscio Bay. Dr Glaub is killed as well.
1986
Karel Jaeger becomes the head of Chechoslovakian Intelligence, a move that makes both native Serbs and Moscow unhappy.
1987
India smears Pakistan in a short, brutal war. This event unbalances the world's balance of power. India detonates Nuclear weapons and joins the club of nuclear nations.
Qwan Zhu is a general in charge of a major southern city. Corruption is notably absent from this city, So are underworld figures and political dissidents. Rumors spread. Qwan Zhu gets his cut and no one rocks his boat or they disappear, too.
1988
The Soviet Union bows out of Afghanistan. Later that year, Indian forces enter, playing the rival tribesmen off against one another. India debuts a series of new war machines and tactics which are based on high mobility, and accurate application of force. Informed sources point to Kahn Noonien Singh as the source for these new ideas.
A new philosophy of "Jaegerism" begins to take hold in parts of Eastern Europe. This is a cult of personality with Karel Jaeger as the celebrity center. Small pockets of young men start to emulate Jaeger's dress, style and look.
1989
Mikail Gorbachev, the Soviet President tries to cope with impending economic
collapse by loosening up on prior Stallinist restrictions. This back fires,
as waves of protest seep across the land
The eastern European Countries announce their independence from Moscow, and
many start making over tures in the west
In another "Bloodless coup" Karel Jaeger takes over Chechosolvakia. Mikhail Gorbachev disappears and is replaced by Vallerie Gadzhenko. Gadzhenko is not shy about using force to put down dissent and uprisings.
1990
Iranian partisans attack Indian assets in Afghanistan, and in the Persian Gulf. Khan, not surprisingly declares war. Indian troops and mercenary Mujahadeen fighters enter Northern Iran.
Gadzhenko demands an immediate return of Warsaw pact countries to the Soviet orbit. As an example he attacks Chechosolvakia, and Karel Jaeger. The results are not as Gadzhenko expects. "Jaegerism" skyrockets in Eastern europe, and the Warsaw pact bands together to fight back against the Soviets.
Afghanistan and southern Asian countries rise against to Soviet union, backed by India.
Iraq Invades Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, The Kuwaiti and Saudi Royal Families flee.
A Coalition of Arab Nations and the United States of America start building the "Desert Shield" force in Jordan.
European forces go on a high state of alert with eyes facing east.
Gadzhenko bitterly blames them for supporting Jaeger.
The United States indicates that any use of nuclear, chemical or biological weapons will result in a Nuclear response from the U.S.
1991
Fighting in Europe between the Warsaw pact and the Soviet Union is heavy. The
Soviet Army is fighting the war it was designed to, and doing well. However
the Warsaw pack countries let by Jaegerist Chechoslovakia are using innovative
tactics along with Material support from both the West and India to hold their
own. Several ancient Eastern European cities are leveled. There is a huge refugee
flow and reports of atrocities and ethnic cleasings by both sides.
Meanwhile in the Middle East U.S forces Launch attacks against Iraqui positions. In heavy fighting, the U.S. gets an upper hand in the air, but the Bulk of the Iraqi army moves against Coalition forces on the ground.
The U.S. commanders realize they don't have enough weight in the theater to guarantee a win, and retreat into Israel. There are serious casualties on both sides. Jordan falls within days. The coalition collapses. Syria announces an alliance with Iraq against the U.S. and Israel and joins the fighting. As soon as it becomes apparent that Iraq plans to attack aggressively, with Syria, other Islamist nations join the fight on the Iraqi side.
Late in the year Terhan falls to Invading Indian and Iraqi troops.
There is a huge Indian Military build up in Afghanistan along the Frontier with the Soviets. Scattered violent uprisings occur in the Southern Soviet Republics.
1992
Indian Supported guerillas and partisans attack Soviet forces in the south.
Gadzhenko steps up the draft, forcibly returning former veterans to service.
Gadzhenko invokes the spirit of Stalin and the Soviet people begin to pull together
under enormous stress and deprivation. Old people say it' very similar to "the
Great Patriotic War" - Just don't eat any chicken.
There are uprisings all over Africa. Robert Mugabe in Zimbabwe is over thrown and publicly beheaded by MacPhearson, a talented African/English general.
President Marhall rallies American forces and begins to take steps to negotiate a peaceful withdrawl. Later it's learned that Khan does NOT want this- that will give the United States time to recover and adjust to their defeat in Jordan.
1993
Eastern European, southern Asian and Indian forces make huge inroads in Soviet Territory. It's plain that this time, The Soviet Union is going to loose.
The Soviets respond by using nuclear strikes on Eastern european and Southern Asian forces. This is widely unpopular and garners public support for Jaeger, Khan and subsidiary generals.
Soviet protests that Indian forces have responded with tactical nuclear attacks go largely ignored, even though this is true. There is serious damage to Central Asian infrastructure and ecology.
Indian forces begin massing along the Himalayan mountains. Khan is stunningly popular in India and in other places in the world. Western people start showing up among Khan's inner circle and in his High command.
Khan assumes the title of "Prince" and publicly invites the Chinese to begin negotiating a non agression treaty. Khan opens the negotiation with harsh demands. The Chinese walk out.
1994
Winter is exceptionally harsh this year. The Eastern Europeans dig in to wait
out the bad weather. Southern Asian forces retreat south, but guerillas, bandits
and terrorists remain giving the surviving, starving residents hell.
Bubonic plague breaks out in Moscow. Initially The Gadzhenko regime denies anything is wrong. By early march, smuggled video tapes shows piles of the dead being burned. Gadzhenko publicly, angrily insists that the Plague is a bio-weapon, claiming it to be virulent, resistant and easily transmitted variant. Experts point out that classic black plague was as bad or worse, and among a stressed, strving population the results will be tragic.
Khan magnamiously offers a cease fire, to allow relief efforts into Moscow.
The Plague begins to turn up among Jagerist troops. A group of American and Western European adventurers prevent a nuclear weapons launch by extremely angry Jaegerists. The Jaegerists forces retreat in growing panic.
By summer the Plague has appeared in Africa and China.
The chinese response is harsh, Army units eliminate suspected plague victims with napalm. This does not prevent the plague from spreading.
Quick, Disciplined reactions by Indian forces and Zimbabwean Forces prevent the spread of the plague in any serious amount in those nations.
The United States FEMA mobilizes bio-research resources in finding a cure for the new plague. It is, in fact resistant to most antibiotic treatments.
In a surprise attack, Chinese forces, lead by Qwan Zhu come over the himalaytan mountains and deal harsh damage to Indian forces.
Indian forces respond and there is massive violence along the border.
As battle disrupts proceedures, the plague begins to spread. battles thought to be won turn out to be draws as troops come away and fall ill.
President James Marshall, while conducting shuttle diplomacy to create a peace and present a united front to battle the plague, is killed when Air Force One is hijacked and destroyed.
Thomas J Whitmore is sworn in. He takes a harder line stance and demands that india withdraw from the Middle east.
Khan responds by laughing harshly.
1995
Whitmore stages and launches air attacks against Indian forces in iraq, Iran, Afghanitan and Pakistan. new missiles, weapons, airborne lasers and other equipment make the attack espcially effective and damaging.
The Chinese, suddenly armed with advanced weapons, many of which are copies of innovative Indian designs, press a new attack.
Even the devastated Soviet Union launches an anemic attack against Khan's forces in Central Asia.
Khan fights bitterly and brillaintly, but is fighting too many people. The strain of maintaining the fighting stance weakens India's cultural resistance to the plague. With advancing plague, Khan's popularity in India starts to fall.
In a meeting with Karel Jaeger, Khan and Jaeger disagree violently. They wind up coing to blows and seperating in a gun battle. Khan wanted the Jaegerist forces to return to the battlefield, and Jaeger refused.
Jaeger dies of injuries sustained in the combat. Khan limps away wounded.
That summer the new York Times leaks a classified CIA document detailing the Eugenics Program and giving Biographies of known Augmented "Supermen", and pointing out that The "Supermen" were immune to the resistant bubonic plague.
Horrified, everyone suddenly can see that the wars have amounted to arrogant, psychotic meglomaniacs fighting over who gets to dominate the world. Khan turns from being a hero to the worlds greatest villain. Commentators blame him for creating the resistant bubonic plague, personally, mixing it up in a lab somehere in his basement.
The names of the Eugenics Supermen are published and a hostile public begins a purge of these people.
Khan welcomes Augmented humans to his side but is forced to quell unrest among his own, formerly wildly loyal people.

The Eugenics wars end. Kahn is 39 years old
2002
Knowle Rorher disappears when his plans for domination are ruined by Mulder and Scully. Mulder and Scully also disappear as violent revenge descends upon them in New Mexico.
