So I was making use of my time being a security guard last night.

I used the "Random Plot Generation Table" in Star Hero to roll up some random stuff - and then I whomped it into an imaginary Star Trek Game.

The plot goes like this - The PCs are contacted by an Andorian Woman - she is a member of a band of mercenaries who travel around space doing violence for fun, profit and to defend the good and innocent.

They have a patron. An adventuring Andorian. Think a sort of Andorian Indianna Jones. Except he is total ego-man. He turns treasure hunting, relic recovering, salvage seeking and generally adventuring into not only fun and profit but an excuse for massive self promotion.

Andorian Mercenary Woman (AMW) is seeking the PCs help. Her mercenary company and their Trump like patron have discovered clues to the possible location of a pre-Federation Andorian sublight colonizer.

Before they discovered Warp Drive the Andorians sent out a collection of ships with colonists in Cold Sleep. A few of these found suitable worlds and established colonies and few of these colonies survived. It's considered an historic and adventurous time in Andorian history.

Andorian Warp Drive Experiments didn't go as well as on Earth - triggering an Ice Age pn Andoria and very nearly the end of their civilization - by the time they'd recovered from that madness - the pre-disaster space efforts had been effectively abandoned.

So recovering an Andorian Colonizer would be a great find for Andorian history - not to mention possible survivors.

All the PCs have to do is out race a gang of tough, experienced and inventive adventurers from clue to clue and get to the MacGuffin ahead of them.

----

That's when they'll discover that the whole thing Is an Elaborate trap designed by the Cardassian Obsidian order to lure Federation people into violating a treaty and setting themselves up for an Ambush

The PCs and their rivals will have to work together to escape the trap.

I'd need to make up

Andorian Mercenary Woman
Andorian Adventuring Ego-Man
The clues, their locations and challenges to getting them.
The Cardassian maniac who invented all of this.
