LL: "They seem real enough to me. If the back room staff is holograms they are the best I have ever encountered."
Nulle grins: "Well thanks for the tip. So what do YOU like to do here?"

Long: "Decompress mostly. Good food, usually good company."

OOC - there needs to be a "Yes" in there somewhere or the conversation dies. Or questions. I know you didn't mean Ms Long to be a "real" character as such. But the inn isn't much fun unless the characters in it are curious about each other.

Laura Long: "If you were wasting my time, I would have stopped talking long ago. You seem related to the group at the booth. Do you know each other? Going on your accouterments you are engaged in a conflict."

"Warp drives, United Federation of Planets. Do you have 180kg telepathic Antelopes?"
Nulle: "Uhhh, they're from one of the ships in our task force. Starfleet is a different organization than the Klingon Defense Force.

If something was to attack us, we'd support each other as we ran away. Happens. Otherwise, I prefer they not stick their nose in my business.

If you see someone screaming and grabbing their head, while they look sorta rubbery and changy, go for cover. Undine take a lot of shooting.

Since the Iconian peace, we ain't seen where a Portal opens up and their constructs come pouring out. But if you see a white circle open in mid air all sorta firey and lightning lookin, go for cover. The Iconian constructs aren't much to fight individually, but they show up in hordes. And a living servant of the Iconians also requires a bunch o' shootin.

I don't know who likes to show up in this timeline. Normal people in normal starships come out of warp, and there's some time where Captains try to talk everyone to death, so you have plenty of time to go find yer hardware and strap up.

I'm told there was a time when it wasn't like that. Meh. These days, you keep the biggest blaster you can close at hand and when the balloon goes up, you try to make the other bastard go down fighting.

As for conflict, you know how it goes. Someone is always showing up with large ships and large opinions about something stupid. Then we go behind their lines, shoot up their supply ships and steal their stuff. Recently it was the Hurk and the Feh'kiri. Before that it was the Tzenkethi. Before that it was the Iconians.

Just last week, it was a Tholian fleet. Always going on about deviant this and timeline that. The only good thing about the Tholians is that their machines are salvagable.

The telepathic Antelopes? Well, I didn't see any in our previous timeline. In our new one they seem to be about. Ain't talked to any to know anything about 'em. No idea what drugs, porn or illicit technology they like. If it comes up, we'll see what I can find to trade."
