Look, Cosmology is broken. The universe is doing things our models don't explain.
Every time we get better data, the result is more confusion.
You know what that means? We're at the cusp of a new idea for explaining the universe. It's like getting advanced warning of Einstein theory of relativity or Copernicus' heliocentrism.
I have no idea what the new thing will look like or who will discover it.
but WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE!

I've been saying that for some time, Physics and cosmology is broken. Episcyles, dark energy/matter? Same stuff. Big piles of we don't know.jayphailey wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2019 5:43 pmLook, Cosmology is broken. The universe is doing things our models don't explain.
