The Na'Khul are humanoids but not humans. They have a smallish stellar nation that lies under the Federation from the POV of the Map. They have trade relations with the Nausicaans, the Orions and the Tholians.
They consider most humanoid races to be fiercely ugly, and would not under any circumstances rub genitals with them. But they're okay once you start to get used to them. Still fugly, though.
