Can I get some description in there. A paragraph or so telling about them.

From something I'm working on now.

Mathew Hopper – Human (Arilaner) male – A huge man that never stops talking. A topper. You can dismiss 80% or what he says as fabrication, the rest is lies. He is at least a decent smith. No wife, a woman could not live with him. Lusts after Ms Carter.

I will try and get you a one hundred foot schoonerish ship. I need more designs anyway. The advantage to fore and aft sails is crew, you need less. The standard is a man a mast, so a two masted schooner needs say, six to eight men (Helm, cook, etc). You would need more to man guns, if any. Sailing with zero guns not a good idea.

drop to four to a side, 24 pounders for some punch. That is a crew of four men a gun. (Muscles to haul the thing around....

Coran likes these dufuses. They get a gift. Eight 24 pound manna canon and a generator. With three to a gun you can fire at astounding rates (And other ships). One to man the gun (recoiless. it's a magical rail gun*.) that swivels at the muzzle and two to heft cannon balls into the thing. With two crew you fire slower. The things will fire as fast as you pour balls into the top. (They look like a pipe with an elbow joint on it. That is why the Helen has that incredible rate of fire. 32 to the side. They are also a lot lighter. A LOT lighter. Two men can lift one. A 24 pound iron cannon weighs a ton.

Your limit is how many cannon balls do you carry. But you can sail with a crew of ten. That's total. If the party takes the idler jobs and the executive positions, you would need eight to man guns on one side. Party can work sails.

*It's not magnetic. You could equally fire glass balls with Greek fire in them.
