Pre-technological Jedi

Post by jayphailey » Thu Apr 10, 2025 6:54 am

Premise

Michelle Yeoh, the older lady is an experienced Jedi.

Zhang Ziyi the younger one was trained by a dark sider to seek vengeance.

Michelle Yeoh and Jet Li take in Zhang Ziyi and try to show her to the light side

In this scene Zhang Ziyi steals Jet Li's indestructible Sword, the "Green Destiny" and fights Michelle Yeah for it. The fight also has undertones of whether Zhang Ziyi should respect Michelle Yeoh and whether she recognizes this fact

The whole point of the film, we find out at some length is Zhang Ziyi's journey from the dark side to the light side.

OK The Force is expressed in different ways. Chi means life force.

Greyhawke it is called Life/Death magic. Two sides of one coin. The worst necromancer on Greyhawke can make Palpatine look like a school master. The difference being that those quickly get powerful counters. Short the kind of adventurers that Greyhawke produces someone like Kiriptis would have turned the world into a charnel house.

I have said Vicarrians have a Jedi tradition, drooped there in times past as it has been on Earth now.
