When it starts playing, in many public spaces you're in for wall-to-wall Christmas music. Like it or not.

The Denny's I ate in last week had X-mas music playing.

Interesting for patrons, maybe, if they don't suffer from X-mas related PTSD

But if you work there? 8 hours of nothing but X-mass music wall to wall.

Mariah has become a meme about it. That's just silliness. You know how meme culture is these days. Everyone wants to be in on the joke.

Me, I do suffer from Christmas-Related PTSD.

I hunker down and humbug my way through it.

My problems shouldn't ruin anyone else's enjoyment of Christmas. I'll load you and your presents up and drive you to your family' gathering. no problem.

But Christmas is not my bag. I am happy these Christmas seasons seem to be passing quicker each year.

I will let Christmas be the problem of those who enjoy it.

I've been sick all fucking month had haven't been out much. The local Leo's has WNIC on, all Christmas music from November 1. One good thing about being mostly deaf is I cannot make most of it out. But I pity the staff.

This is exactly the reason Matthew cannot abide Michael Jackson and "I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus".
