L1: "Not really. We're learning the culture we all thought was the basis for Orions is an offshoot of an offshoot. They treat green people very poorly there, so we're making a new culture. Many of the Green folks like music, dancing and sensuality and like being able to express that more freely than in the bad old days."

Blackthorn: "We need some music around here. Dancing is fun."

H1: "That sounds... interesting. Do you know in advance when you're going to detonate?"

Yo'esly: "In the case of the normal cycle yes. About five years before you start to slow down. In the weeks leading up to it it starts as a slow pressure. It gets so you just can't hold it in. Most, me included, get ourselves situated before that happens. You 'let go' and in over comes you. For three days you are not sensate. You are aware of self, a deep introspection. Then bam, you're back in the world, and very hungry. You do feel new, renewed of mind and body. A lot of people shift their lives around, new professions, new mates.

On the gripping talon the stabification method is very sudden. You come out healthy and hungry.

I understand for the people witnessing this it is far more dramatic.
