[Innkeeper]

The door creaks open. Two people enter. A man with the leg of an equine and near solid black skin and hair. His eyes softly glow blue. The second a woman with powder blue skin and black hair. Her clothing screams Arabian knights. She is wearing a scimitar. The man is carrying a rapier. Both hang their weapons by the door.

Man: "I didn't think we would get this lucky."

Woman: "The Inn is nearly unseen on Bitopia."

They sit away from the current group and get food and drink. The man has a hamburger.

All "Welcome! Who are you?"

[Innkeeper]

All "Welcome! Who are you?"

Raphael: "Hi, Starfleet people. I am Raphael, Half Centaur at large, Cleric of Suszan, and occasional plane walker." Turning to the Lydia party, "You lot have the look of adventurers."

Jasmine: "I'm Jasmine, I'm a Jinn, for now. No associations except the big fellow."

Raphael: To Jasmine "Starfleet are professorially curious. They will question your ear off."

Raphael: "Hi, Starfleet people. I am Raphael, Half Centaur at large, Cleric of Suszan, and occasional plane walker." Turning to the Lydia party, "You lot have the look of adventurers."

Setta: "We solve problems for fun and gold. Most of the problems are that we don't have enough gold."

Jasmine: "I'm Jasmine, I'm a Jinn, for now. No associations except the big fellow."

Raphael: To Jasmine "Starfleet are professorially curious. They will question your ear off."

Stephanie and Haley look at him.

Stephanie: "So, when did you meet Starfleet people?"

Haley; "What's Bitopia?"

[Innkeeper]

Setta: "We solve problems for fun and gold. Most of the problems are that we don't have enough gold."

Raphael kind of laughs head down. "Yea, I know that one all to well. That is how I get started." His gear looks high quality.

Stephanie and Haley look at him.

Stephanie: "So, when did you meet Starfleet people?"

Raphael: "Last time I was here. Half a dozen people including a purple girl. Some cowboy they called 'Six' came busting in in combat armor like he owned the place, very tense. I was sure I was about to see the Inn defenses in action."

Haley; "What's Bitopia?"

Raphael: To Jasmine "See what I mean?" To Haley "One of the weirder planes. It has ground, and ground in the air. Let's experiment. When you leave the Inn you go where you came from."

He gets up and opens the door wide. "Yep, Bitopia. What do you see Miss?"

There is land upside down in the sky.

Haley: "Carla, or Roxa?"

Raphael: "Roxa, her name was Roxa. Cute and somewhat naive. Her shipmates were not taking her seriously. That is a bad mistake."

Haley looks and makes sure her commbadge can see and record all of it. "Wow. How does that even work?"

Raphael: "The physics we are use to didn't show up for work. Best explanation I have. My family and I hung out there for six months getting our feet under us before moving on. I did a few side jobs for that money problem. For all the weird physics it is a peaceful place."

They do not need weapons or armor. But socks? Cookware? Backpacks made with composites and nylon? Comfy sports bras? Clothes made of modern materials?

It was a side trip for the "Playing tourist on a modern Earth" trip

Raphael: "Roxa, her name was Roxa. Cute and somewhat naive. Her shipmates were not taking her seriously. That is a bad mistake."

Haley: "She picked up the nickname "Carla The Cruel". I don't know if she's going with the Klingons or staying at Base Steele."

Haley looks and makes sure her commbadge can see and record all of it. "Wow. How does that even work?"

Haley: "That's extremely selective. Someone made that. You'd have to tune it, or it'd just be quarks everywhere."

Raphael: "I cannot speak to that. There are no such memories or legends. If Bitopia is a working, the working of it is lost." He would close the door.

Jasmine: "It's a great place to hang out however."

Raphael: "Sorry to hear that. She seemed like a nice kid."

Haley: "Oh, no it was right,"
