History of the Organization: The Ansisi began shortly after the Ane arrived on Earth in a Preserver ship. Trouble started shortly there after with a group of humans that considered the Ane a neat new food source. Humans, still openly telepathic 20,000 years ago, could sneak up on Ane.
The conflict was not a long one. The Woman Ansisi took it upon herself to speak with the new creatures. She brought word to the tribe that these were people. People in a strange shape, but people none the less. From her efforts came The Covenant of Ansisi. "Ane shall not harm Man. Man shall not harm Ane. Each shall help the other in matters friendly. The actions of one shall not be considered the actions of all." This simple agreement has been kept for the full history of contact between the Ansisi and the Ane. Ansisi were welcomed into the All. With the aid and protection offered by the more powerful telepathies, the Ansisi did not travel down the path away from, telepathy as did the rest of humanity. To this day they remain the only species other than the Ane themselves that have become part of the All.
The first serious trial of the Covenant was the arrival of Egyptian explorers in the time of the Pharaohs. The Ansisi need a reason that would go over with the highly religious strangers as to why the Ane must be left along hit on the "Watchers of the Gods" ruse. One that was used into the 20th century.
During the troubles of the late 21st century most of the Ansisi were taken to El Nanth by the express to protect them. Superstition and hiding out no longer worked.
Today the Ansisi numbers are spread between Earth and El Nanth. Ansisi can be found throughout the Federation and Starfleet.
