History of the Organization: Kent and Gussingham, accidental roommates at college had a ball cracking up the guys during their time at school. In a moment of inspiration they got the loan of a good holo production suite, wrote, stared in, and produced a short film called "Abner and Dweezle", a comedy about a pair of total buffoons without a clue. The skit featured broad physical puns, classic slapstick updated to modern means, and typical sophomoric low humor. They distributed it on the datanet and it became an instant hit as nothing like it had been done for a while.
Kent and Gussingham made 28 Abner and Dweezle films in the next ten years. 20 shorts and 8 feature length comedies. Eventually the public tired of the act and moved to fresher entertainments.
William Kent went on to make a name from himself as a producer and director of holofilms, branching out from comedy to drama and action adventure. Ernest Gussingham retired from film to write. He produced a number of novels during his life but only "The Hart in Spring" was met by any great success. Both remained fast friends for life.
