Re: Roxa and the Bartender

Roxa: "It's artificial? Who made it? Why?" BT: "Miss they are the Innkeeper, that is the only name we know and reasons have never been given." BW: "Each of us that stay, do so without choice. At the moment we stepped into the Inn our world...ended. Rules aside there is no place to return to. So we ...

Re: Jay of A and Coran

Jay of A blinks slowly considering the words. Kami: "How is it you come to be on a space station in a different Federation, Sir?" Coran: Sight quirk of a smile. "It is more that you have left one. The Olde Phoenix is trans-universal. Touching all and belonging to none. I came from mine, we have no ...

Re: Raphael & Ahern

Roxa: "Hmmm. Do the things your magic works on heat up when Magic used on them? Do you heat up when you use magic? Would you be willing to some small expressions of this magic for me?" Raphael: "I'm not aware of excess heat, unless fire is invoked. Do some magic." He takes a deep breath and his eye...

Re: Nulle, Noseg and Teifa

Nulle: "This would not be our first such trade. It would take much discussion and I would have to give you a PADD with a lot of information on it for you to take advantage of. We've been trading tech and developing tech pretty aggressively for the last 20 years. I would not sell you one comm link. ...

Re: Roxa and the Bartender

Roxa: "Ummm. How long have you worked here? Does that term have any meaning here? How do you know this is stable and won't collapse and explode, or blast our quarks into a soup somewhere in the deep future?" BT: "I assume the architect knew their business. How do you know that any construction will...

Re: Raphael & Ahern

Roxa: "Can you describe this energy? Is it visible to you? How do detect it?" Raphael: "In words that can be understood? I see magic natively it is part of my being. The auras have a...flavor. You can tell roughly what the magic is for, and you can tell the source. Divine ,magic, arcane magic, eart...

Jay of A, (serious) "I don't recognize any of those places. Do you know of Neverwinter? Baldur's Gate? The Sword Coast?"
Coran: (gently) "Places on a world far from mine, called Toril. It is a Toril, not the one you came from."

Re: Nulle, Noseg and Teifa

Nulle clearly has no idea who Lazarus Long is. He smiles "Ah. Well, I suppose if you're the granddaughter of the founder of a trade house, you must be pretty well off. But perhaps we have some technology that would be of interest to you?" LL: "Not as many as you might think. Gramps is a pretty firm...

Re: Bill's operation

Not much to add here except to hope for the best. I get the "I'm not old". That particular bar has been sliding for me as well. I'm over 60, but I don't feel old. Sure, I have disabilities, but that is a long time coming thing I deal with. Old? Not there yet.

I was stunned when the thing was finished. A definite "What now?" moment.
